Delete your WhereisX account
This action is permanent and irreversible.
Deleting your account will permanently remove:
- Your profile and account credentials
- Your items and their locations
- Your household memberships
Items in a household you share with other people stay with that household. Your data cannot be recovered after deletion.
Deleting your account does not cancel a WhereisX Pro subscription. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play settings first, or you will keep being billed.
In the app
The fastest way, and it takes effect immediately: open the sidebar → Settings → Delete Account.
If you can't use the app
Lost or broken phone? Email us from the address on your account and we'll delete it for you. We reply to confirm, and the account is deleted within 30 days.
Email a deletion requestIf the button doesn't open your mail app, write to privacy@whereisx.app with the subject “Delete my WhereisX account”.
The request has to come from the email address on the account — that is how we know it's yours. If you signed in with Apple and chose to hide your email, say so in the message and we'll confirm ownership another way.
